What happens

    Add ingredients and purchases

    Milk, beans, paneer, bread. Record each purchase with its price.

    Give dishes a recipe

    A cappuccino uses 180 ml milk and 18 g beans. Only items with a recipe are counted.

    Stock goes down as you sell

    Every order sent to the kitchen uses up stock. Record waste when it happens. Low stock shows on the dashboard.

What you get

  • Stock count at any time; history is never rewritten

What it does not do

  • Costs are estimates from the prices you entered. They are not audited profit and not an accounting record.
  • Only items with a recipe are counted. Dishes without a recipe do not use stock.
  • No purchase orders, supplier ledger or forecasting.
  • On Starter, stock is off. Move to Plus and it starts after a stock count.
  • If the internet stops, new orders and payments cannot be confirmed until it is back. Anything already sent is safe. Nivala does not bill offline.
